Kodu Training Evening
December 7, 2016 at 4:30PM
Green Lane Primary School
|2 hour session looking at improving your skills on Kodu At the last Bradford CAS hub meeting a few teachers were asking about getting some specific training on Kodu and how they can develop different games ideas, so I've decided to run it as a unique session. The workshop will go through the basics of Kodu, a variety of different game ideas and strategies, and how it it provides links to the national curriculum. Over the 2 hrs sessions you should take away some new knowledge of the software, and feel more confident in using it in the classroom. I'll also be providing you will lesson 2 schemes of work, and class resources for you to take away! I can cater projects from complete novices, right up to experts so please don't panic about the ability level, I'll fit it to you. Simple refreshments will be available. Parking available roadside on Green Lane.|
ICT Coordinator and E-Learning enthusiast. I have been in the classroom for 4 years now and I have worked in primary and a very rare middle school. Love to play with a VLE and new ways for pupils to learn online. Big advocate of pupils using mobile technology in the classroom. In the past I have presented my work at BETT (nerve-wracking!) and at national learning forums. I work closely with other schools in my LA to try and develop a wider community of learning. Always looking for new and innovative ways to enhance learning in primary schools. For (almost!) daily updates follow me on twitter @alwayscomputing. I hope to share good practice, great resources, and a few things to brighten your day!
All materials and resources used on this course will be made available to all delegates after the course.
