KOJO BAIDEN invites you to 'COMMUNITY CHAT BOUT', one of many events comprising the work being undertaken as part of the C-WORD PROJECT.
This monthly event offers an open, welcoming space where indvidiuals, friends and families affected by cancer can come together to share their stories, listen to others, support one another and break the silence around "The C-Word"!!
Whether you’re a survivor, a caregiver, or someone who’s lost a loved one, you are not alone. This event creates a safe and respectful environment for honest conversations about fear, resilience, grief, hope and everything in between.

We are bringing you something special Tony Cealy, Community Activist, Cultural Producer and Facilitator will be delivering an interactive drama workshop.
The aim of the event is to invite the audience members to share elements of their personal stories of cancer and to celebrate themselves. They will see audience members perform short stories on the spot.
This interactive process uses stories to foster connection, empathy, and community dialogue, allowing individuals to gain new perspectives on their experiences and feel a sense of shared humanity.
We will also have contributions fom Cancer Black Care, a charity organisation who provide support for those living with and affected by cancer.
