Event description
The Cornwall Food Foundation is offering a selection of free workshops for anyone interested in following an environmentally-friendly diet.

About this Event

Join our Community Food Team and discover how to make your own kombucha! You will also learn how to make a raw Pad Thai, a crisp, nutrient rich take on the classic Thai noodle dish.

We will also be joined by inspirational guest speaker, Dr Sebastian Senociain on the importance of gut health. Sebastian is a qualified western medical doctor who has also explored and integrated his practice through Ayurveda and Functional Medicine. At present, he is also training in Culinary Medicine as a way of integrating functional nutrition concepts into everyday cooking, helping the body to heal and prevent disease through our diet.

Cool Food

The Cool Food campaign aims to help at least 1,300 households in the UK and France to make a 20% reduction in their carbon emissions over the course of two years. This could save a massive 153 tonnes of CO2 emissions, which is the amount of carbon it would take to drive to the moon and back.

By making small changes to our diets, we can make a big impact. Make a Cool Food Commitment today and see how you could not only help the planet but your wallet too!
