Kops N Kids sessions run on selected Thursdays and Fridays throughout August at Brookvale recreation centre.

(Due to Creamfields policing commitments there will be no sessions on the 21st and 22nd August sorry)

There will be multiple sports to get involved with each session all run by your local officers making it a safe and fun environment.

There will be two sessions each day 09:00 - 12:00 and 13:00 - 15:00.

Morning and afternoon sessions require their own seperate ticket.

Each child attending will require their own individual ticket for each session.

There are only 80 tickets per session and they are on a first come first served basis.

Frequently asked questions

Is the event open to all ages?

Unfortunately we can only accept children aged 8 to 16 years of age.

My child currently has an injury. Is it ok for them to attend?

All children attending need to be fit and able to take part in the multisport sessions. We are not able to cater for children that require addition assistance as the activities are physically demanding and fast paced. All children attending will be expected to take part and not just sit watching.

Can I stay and watch my child?

Sorry there is no facility for spectating. Parents will drop there children off at the start time and pick them up at the session end time.

My child has tickets for morning and afternoons sessions, can they stay inside the rec?

This isn't possible. Centre staff and Police staff will not be present from 12:00-13:00 so children must be off site during this period.

Are refreshments provided?

No, children must bring their own drinks with them for each session.

Will there be a trained first aider on site?

All the Police staff on site during the sessions are qualified first aiders.

Can my child bring snacks?

Yes but please make sure that any snacks do not contain nuts as there may be children present with allergies.
