This is suitable as a whole class activity, up to a maximum of 30 children from Y1 or 2. Schools may book a maximum of 2 classes for this event.
Please do not bring children who have been before.
Children will follow a trail and take part in carousel of activities based on a popular children's book (Stick Man). Children will be encouraged to problem solve and practice their literacy and numeracy skills individually and in groups.
This is an outdoor event and therefore weather dependant. Please ensure children come dressed appropriately for the weather conditions and bring drinking water.
You will be asked to book at start time for your trail to start. Start times are staggered at 15 minute intervals (the trail will take between 90 - 120 minutes to complete). Please ensure you are at the park 10 minutes ahead of this start time in order to receive your briefing and be ready to go on time as there will be a number of schools scheduled to take part.
