Kundalini Yoga & Meditation Workshop: How to Start a Home Practice
Sun 13 November 2016, 09:30 – 12:00 GMT
Although I had attended both Yoga & Meditation classes for many years, I didn't really begin to see the benefits of these practices until I started to explore them on my own at home. It took a long time to get there though! I felt as though I hadn't learned "enough" about yoga or meditation and the only way I could practice at home was by strictly following a DVD or book. Whilst attending a Yoga & Meditation class is hugely valuable and part of the learning journey, I am passionate about empowering people to start a home practice or personal sadhana. It's through the consistency, solitude and freedom that we have in our own practice that we can truly find the beauty and feel the benefits of Yoga & Meditation.
We will explore:
- The basic elements of an effective Home Practice or Personal Sadhana that can begin with as little as 3 minutes a day!
Tips to help you weave your practice into your everyday life
Practice of Kundalini Yoga & Meditation
How to begin a practice that works with where you are at the moment - in every moment!
This workshop is ideal for those who have some experience of yoga and meditation but don't yet feel they have the knowledge or confidence to practice at home.

About Kundalini Yoga & Meditation
Kundalini yoga is known as the yoga of awareness. It is a complete yogic system, incorporating asana (postures), pranayama (breathing exercises), mantra (chanting) and meditation. The primary aim of Kundalini Yoga is to unite the practitioner with his or her higher consciousness. Unlike most forms of yoga practiced in the West today, Kundalini Yoga also includes prescribed sets of dynamic exercise (kriyas) that act on specific areas of the physical and subtle body to help balance mind, body and spirit.
