    About this event

    An introduction to the Prevent duty.

    The Prevent Duty aims to Safeguarding vulnerable individuals from being radicalised, supporting terrorism or becoming terrorists themselves.

    This webinar provides opportunities for practitioners with prevent and safeguarding responsibilities across Lancashire to develop further knowledge around the risks of radicalisation, how to support those at risk and learn about the forms of extremism and terrorism we face today. The session will also provide a brief overview of the referral process, including details of how to make a referral should you have concerns.

    24 hours ahead of the Event date chosen, a private access link to the training via Microsoft Teams will be sent to the email used in registration.

    PLEASE NOTE: A non-attendance charging policy for those attendees who have not cancelled their place in advance of their allocated day will be in place from the 1st of March 2022.
