Biomedical research teams at the Inverness Campus are exploring some of the fundamental questions that underpin our understanding of health and disease. From the genetics of melanoma to antimicrobial coatings for surgical instruments we conduct research into a wide range of medical technologies and clinical conditions.
Our facilities on the Inverness Campus consist of laboratories in An Lòchran and the new Life Sciences Innovation Centre. Join us for a tour of both facilities to find out more about the leading biological research, medical nanotechnology, bio-photonics and mass spectrometry that is happening right here at the University of the Highlands and Islands.
This event is being hosted as part of the Highland Business Week, and we would be delighted if you could join us to network over tea and coffeee after the tour.
Please meet us at reception for the Life Sciences Innovation Centre. There is parking available on site. During the tour, we will walk across the campus to An Lòchran (approx. 4 min).
We often use photography and/or video footage at our events to promote UHI. If you don’t want your photo to be taken or to be filmed, please let a member of UHI staff know on the day.
