Ladies Box Hill- Climbing and Descending Training Ride - 29th April

This is a great opportunity to practice your climbing and descending with Dan Higginson (fellow ride captain at Club Peloton) and Charmaine Rees. The session is focussed on practicing climbing and descending with helpful tips from us as you complete each climb and descent. The reward at the end is coffee and cake at Box Hill followed by an easy cycle back to Richmond Park.
We will meet at Kingston Gate Car Park (Richmond Park) at 7.15am for a prompt 7.30am start. The route will take a short, flat route to Box Hill giving everyone an opportunity to sufficiently warm up.
Once there, the aim will be for everyone to complete 3 – 5 climbs and descents of Box Hill. Everyone will take it at their own pace, completing as much or as little as they want. Whilst I would aim to complete all 5, especially as we will be 2 weeks pre-Pedelle, don’t worry – if you don’t fancy all 5, you can do less and meet us at the top for coffee.
The aim is to be back by 2pm at the latest, earlier if everyone is super speedy mountain goats!
