We are beyond excited to announce the launch of the new Ladies Hacking Society (LHS) Mentoring Programme!
This initiative, proudly supported by Sage, is designed to tackle the diversity gap in the cybersecurity industry head-on. The programme offers structured, practical support to women in cybersecurity, providing them with the tools and networks needed to advance their careers. It's a powerful step toward addressing the barriers of invisibility and limited access to professional networks that many women continue to face.
Ladies Hacking Society (LHS) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering and promoting women in the cybersecurity industry. Founded by women, for women, our core mission is to address the significant gender gap in the field, particularly in technical roles.
Sage, a long-time advocate for inclusion and equity, has been an incredible partner in bringing this vision to life. Their support underscores a shared commitment to building a more diverse and high-performing security function, starting in the North East and Scotland.
“This initiative aligns perfectly with our broader goals around inclusion, equity, and talent development. We see mentoring not just as a tool for individual growth, but as a strategic lever to build a more diverse, high-performing security function. Supporting LHS allows us to engage with underrepresented communities, attract new talent, and contribute meaningfully to the industry’s evolution. We’re excited to be part of a programme that’s not only empowering women but also helping to reshape the future of cyber security.” - Kimberley Graham, Manager of People-Centred Security, Sage.
Thank you, Sage, for your leadership and support in making this project a reality! We can't wait to see the positive change this programme will bring.
Want to get involved? You can join us as a mentor, a mentee, or even both!
This first six-month round is specifically for women who are already rocking it in cybersecurity, and are based in the North East of England or Scotland.
