The event begins with a welcome drinks reception, followed by a delicious two-course lunch served in a relaxed and elegant setting with pianist Karina Moore playing, creating the perfect atmosphere to unwind, socialise, and enjoy a well-deserved afternoon out.

Denise will deliver an engaging talk followed by a Q&A session, offering insights into her extensive experience across TV, radio, and sports media.
With over 30 years in media, Denise brings a wealth of experience. She spent 17 years at BBC NI, where she became a familiar face on TV screens, and later moved to UTV. A multi-award-winning journalist, Denise made headlines in 2007 with her exclusive story on Oisín McConville, which earned her CIPR Sports Journalist of the Year.
Now the co-host of the U105 Breakfast Show and a regular reporter for Talksport, Denise covers international football and contributes monthly to Local Women magazine. She is a strong advocate for women’s sport and continues to freelance in TV, produce digital content, and host major sporting events. When she’s not behind the mic, she enjoys spending time with her daughters, walking her dog Eddie, and reading.
