Join dress-maker and historian, Meridith Towne, as she takes you on an animated journey of female beauty and how women have attained it – with a little help from their wardrobes and make-up cases! From corsets and spiral bras, bum pads and crinoline cages, wigs and rouge Merideth wears them all as she explores the ideals of femininity concluding every women is perfect – they may just live in the wrong decade!
The Museum will be open from 5.30 – 6.15pm for you to see the Twentieth Century Fashion display ahead of the talk in The LAB.
