Enjoy a delicious lunch in wonderful company as we welcome back the ever-popular Alan Punter, who will take us on a fascinating journey through Literary Hertfordshire – by bicycle!

Alan’s engaging talk recounts his unique cycling tour across Hertfordshire, visiting the homes and haunts of some of Britain’s most celebrated authors, including Charles Dickens, E.M. Forster, Graham Greene, and Jennifer Worth (Call the Midwife), among others. With wit and warmth, Alan shares the stories behind the locations where these literary greats lived, wrote, and found inspiration.
