Ladies Of The Stave, in association with The Other Palace Present:

Secrets of the Keys : A Training Day for Female Pianists, Keyboard Players and Musical Directors

A series of masterclasses in the essential skills needed to be a versatile accompanist and musical director in today's industry, led by some of London's leading female musical directors.

Women of all ages and backgrounds are welcome. Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult.

This event is part of the #LadiesoftheStave initiative to support female musicians in theatre, which is supported by the Musicians Union. It is hosted by the Other Palace and is free of charge.

Schedule :

1100 : Welcome.

1115 : Masterclass 1 - Conducting from the Piano.

1220 : Masterclass 2 - Playing the Groove.

1.20 - 1.50pm : Lunch. Free tea and coffee will be provided.

1.50 - 2.50pm : Masterclass 3 - Accompaniment.

3 - 4pm : Masterclass 4 - Wellbeing and Confidence.
