Description

Keynote speaker is Catherine Bishop: From rowing glory and international conflict: Business lessons from 3 Olympics and 1 war zone. Olympic medallist for rowing and respected diplomat, Cath Bishop is a motivational speaker with key lessons for companies floundering in the rocky waters of business. Sharing practical strategies to help teams make a splash with exceptional results, Cath relays the need for clarity, a constant learning mindset and collaboration to achieve success. Delivering outstanding performance under extreme circumstances is Cath’s lifeblood – both from her gruelling Olympic training regime, which led her to Olympic silver and World Championship gold, and through her struggle for survival as she encountered incoming mortars and rockets on her diplomatic mission to Basra. Free after-lunch workshop: Facilitator: Leyla Kemal social network queen Topic: All you ever wanted to know about social networking but were too darn busy to ask.

Networking starts at noon, lunch ends at 2.30 and the workshop begins until 3.30 with networking until 4.

Organised by

For the past 13 years Lady Val has organised charity fund-raising lunches for business women who are either CEO's, senior executives, entrepreneurs or business owners. The current charity is the Robin Corbett Award for Prisoner Re-integration which gives funds annually to charities which do the most to support ex-offenders with jobs. Employment after prison is the key to non-reoffending.
