Studying at the Edward Boyle Library
We offer a choice of study session times– currently morning and afternoon – with new slots released daily at around 3pm.
You can arrive at any time during your booked session.
When you book, you are reserving a particular study space – you must only use this space during your session. Please do not move to another desk. If there are issues with your space please let staff know. Moving desks may mean you are taking a space from someone else.
You will not be able to access materials on shelves during your session – please use click and collect.
Please stay at home if you have any Coronavirus symptoms.
When you arrive
Please queue outside the main Blenheim Terrance entrance on arrival. We try to move the queue as quickly as possible, but make sure that you dress for the weather.
Please bring your University ID and booking details with you to show to staff on arrival. They will give you a desk number and direct you to your seat.
Study spaces are clearly numbered – please use your assigned study space only.
Please follow directional signage in the Library. There is a one way system in place throughout the Library, including lifts.
Cancelling your booking
If you’re not able to make it for any reason, please cancel your booking so the study session can be made available for someone else.
To cancel your booking, go to Eventbrite and click your name or avatar in the top right of the page. There you can access the Tickets page. Select the ticket you want to cancel. To the left of your screen there are some options for your tickets, click cancel to make the space available for someone else.
