I've booked a ticket, but can no longer come. What should I do?

Tell us immediately - we cannot refund (within 30 days of the event) or transfer you to another trip if you miss this trip, but if you think you won't be able to make it, email us. We may be able to find someone to take your place.

What should I wear for this trip?

Wear suitable clothing - it's autumn, in the English Lake District, and weather is unpredictable, so bring warm clothes (layers you can remove when walking), waterproof jacket and comfortable shoes with GOOD GRIP, it's slippery in places, and you will get dirty.

What about food & drink?

Bring snacks - there are shops & cafes in each destination, which you'll have time to visit but it's a 3hr journey, so bring water, sandwiches, crisps, etc, but avoid hot, smelly food (the coach driver won't like it!)

What time should I arrive at the meeting point?

The trip start time is the time the coach will depart, so aim to get there at least 10-15 mins before. If you're late, we cannot wait!

I'm not a student at university in York, can I still come?

Accepted Answer

Yes, certainly. Most participants will be international students from University of York and York St John University, but UK students and students from language schools come with us, too. If you want to meet people and explore the UK, come join us.
