Event description
The Lake District National Park Partnership are asking young farmers their views on farming and the future.

About this event

The Lake District National Park’s Partnership recognises farming is facing a period of unprecedented change. It is seeking to engage with farmers and land managers to inform the development of its Management Plan and get input into a bid to the National Lottery Heritage Fund’s “Heritage Horizons” programme.

Over January farming organisations have been contacting farmers for their views about the future of the Lake District National Park and to understand what support they need to access funding opportunities and to develop projects.

This session is targeted at younger farmers (under 30 years old) who are invited to attend on-line workshop on Wednesday 27th January starting at 7.30pm

All participants will be entitled to enter a prize draw for a £50 voucher of their choice.

The event will be held on zoom, please register here and joining details will be sent out 24 hours before the event.
