Stitch & Bitch Club – Come and Craft, Chat & Snack

Looking for a warm, welcoming space to work on your latest textile project, meet creative souls, and have a good natter over tea and cake? Join us for Làmhan’s Stitch & Bitch Club, launching this season.

When: Every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month. Time: 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM

Where: Làmhan, 2a Cross Street, Callander, FK17 8EA

Whether you’re a seasoned stitcher or a total beginner, this is a relaxed, come-as-you-are hangout for anyone into:

  • Knitting
  • Embroidery
  • Sewing
  • Crochet
  • Weaving
  • Any other textile-based craft

Bring your work in progress, bring a friend, and if you can — bring some cake or biscuits to share. We’ll provide the tea, the space, and the good company. And we will probably be able to give some advice on what you're working on too if you need a helping hand :-)

This helps us know how many people to expect and ensures we’ve got enough chairs for everyone. Whether you’re looking to swap tips, share skills, or simply stitch in good company, all are welcome.

Can kids come to this group?

Sorry, but no. This is a group for adults only. Only exception is breastfeeding babies and mums.

I don’t know how to do any crafts but am willing to learn - help!

Why not come on one of our classes first? We’ll get you started and then you take it from there!

Do you sell yarn and knitting/crochet supplies?

No, but our friends just across the road at Stitchcraft Callander do! Please help support their local business :-)

Do you sell any kits?

Yes we do! We’ve got a variety of sewing kits available to purchase, including ones we’ve produced ourselves. There’s no pressure to buy one but they are there if you need them :-)

Is this building accessible?

We have planned the interior of the studio with wheelchair users in mind. However the entrance door is a bit tight at 80cm (we think you should just about be able to get a standard wheelchair through the door). We do have an accessible toilet
