Why not join us for this popular networking event jointly hosted by FSB and Lanarkshire Business Hub at New College Lanarkshire’sCumbernauld Campus?
The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) offers members a wide range of vital business services including advice, financial expertise, support and a powerful voice in government. Their aim is to help smaller businesses achieve their ambitions. As the largest business organisation in the UK, they represent around 1300 members in Lanarkshire.
After a networking breakfast, Alan Dick will aim to raise awareness of the RSA scheme across Scottish businesses and give you a link to expert advice within Scottish Enterprise.
Scottish Enterprise works with partners in the public and private sectors to identify and exploit the best opportunities to deliver a significant, lasting effect on the Scottish economy.
Dependent on the location of the project and the size of your company there may be Regional Selective Assistance (RSA grant assistance) available to help support your capital expenditure costs.
- Is your company investing in new equipment/machinery?
- Is the company creating new jobs or securing some or all of the existing workforce?
If your company can answer YES to the above questions RSA may be able to help.
RSA is available to limited companies, sole traders and/or partnerships. In order to qualify the company should be able to articulate a need for assistance, be that to achieve significant productivity gains and/or secure existing jobs and/or create new jobs.
Following on from Alan, Nicola Cosgrove, Investment Readiness Officer at DSL Business Finance Ltd will make the business owner aware of the various funding options available to them.
Not-for-profit lender, DSL Business Finance Ltd, was established in 1993 and provides loans to SMEs and Social Enterprises throughout Scotland. Their vision is to make Scotland a better place to live and work and they encourage entrepreneurship, creation and preservation of jobs and provision of opportunities for individuals to create a positive future for themselves. To date they have assisted more than 900 businesses safeguarding almost 1900 jobs Scotland wide and are keen to provide even more support going forward.
