Lancashire Constabulary Special Constable Recruitment Event
Event Information
Description
Special Constables are volunteers who provide assistance to the regular police force, dealing with a variety of incidents and interacting with our diverse communities. Working with the local Neighbourhood Policing Teams, Special Constables are trained to assist regular officers and increase the effectiveness of local police initiatives.
Special Constables learn many new skills and take on additional responsibilities, as well as making a worthwhile contribution to the local communities in Lancashire. All we ask is that Special Constables commit a minimum of four hours duty per week.
Applications received by midnight 18 June 2015 will be for the January 2016 intake.
To find out more about the recruitment process and the training Specials receive, please reserve a place at our recruitment event.
