The Lancashire Science Festival isn't just for children - after all, Why Should Kids Have All The Fun? So we are throwing open our doors in this special event just for grown-ups.
53 Degrees, Preston
Friday 1 July, 7.00pm until late
The evening will start with a hilarious stand-up comedy set delivered by real scientists, researchers and academics. Compered by the brilliant Steve Cross who founded both Bright Club and Science Showoff this promises to be science as you've never seen it before. Trust us, it will be funnier than you think!
We will then round off the night with the return of the brilliant Science of Cocktails. This year, resident mixologist Noel Jackson will be asking 'What's Your Poison?' and taking you on a booze fuelled journey through the world of what you can and can't drink.
Tickets cost £15.00 plus booking fee and include entrance into the event, the comedy performance and the Science of Cocktails which includes 5 killer cocktails. The event will also feature a cash bar, where you will be able to try this year's Lancashire Science Festival beer 'Beyond the Pale' and there will be a selection of delicious and stomach lining food to purchase - a must before you hit those cocktails.
