Lancaster Data Conversations - Data Security and Confidentiality
Event Information
Description
Data Security and Confidentiality
How can we reconcile ethical research with the move towards open data? How do we store and share confidential data?
Come and share your data stories with us - what works, what doesn't work. What are the issues around storing and sharing sensitive and confidential data?
Lancaster Data Conversations are about bringing data practitioners together to discuss these challenges.
What to expect
The Data Conversation will feature short talks from Lancaster researchers. Each talk will be 10 minutes long and there will be time for discussion.
You can attend and benefit from your colleagues’ experiences, or come and present your experiences. We welcome talks and input from Early Career Researchers as well as from more experienced academics or research support staff.
The event will start with a slice of pizza and tea & biscuits for everybody who joins us 1.30-2pm.
Agenda
Talks will start at 2 pm (Library C130), but you are welcome to join us for a slice of pizza, coffee & biscuits from 1.30 pm on the day.
A preliminary agenda for the event can be downloaded here.
