THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED

About this Event

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the ongoing situation with coronavirus (COVID-19), we have made the decision to postpone the Land Value Capture event which was due to take place at the RICS in London on 27 April.

We will be in touch in due course with a rescheduled date.

The event will include recent work on the incidence and value of planning obligations and Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) together with related research, including on viability and the limits to capturing increases in value. The event will also examine the implications of this research for the current policy debates about how best to capture increases, including looking at experience overseas and well as within the UK.

Dame Kate Barker has agreed to chair the seminar. She brings a wealth of thinking and experience to this issue, not the least her major reports for the government on this issue and her roles as a non-executive director of key housing, infrastructure and finance bodies.

Further speakers and the full agenda will be announced soon.

Please note: Registration opens at 9.30am, with the first session starting promotely at 10am. Places are limited.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
