About the panellists
Michael Buckworth
Michael is a qualified solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales, and the founder of Buckworths, the only law firm in the UK working exclusively with start-ups and high growth businesses. He has a passion for entrepreneurialism, and has advised countless start-ups over the last 10 years. He is a regular speaker at industry events and is also the author of `Built on Rock, the busy entrepreneur's legal guide to start-up success.
Kevin Smith
Kevin Smith is the founder and CEO of BOOM & Partners, a multi-award winning business consultancy firm, working with early-stage business from concept through to raising £10m. He is a published business author and has written five books and hundreds of articles covering many aspects of scaling a business. His latest book ‘Start-up to Scale-up’ was published recently. Kevin is also a mentor for the UK's largest Entrepreneur Acceleratot programme, Prince’s Trust, and a mentor and guest lecturer at Bayes Business School (formerly Cass), City of London University.
