This training day is for landowners looking to manage and restore existing Temperate Rainforest on their land.
This event will be prioritised for Cornwall Landowners.
This practical day will give you the opportunity to understand rainforest restoration and be a part of the whole process from start to finish. You will start the day by understanding how to survey and mark up trees that need managing. While you are learning how to use the Rapid Rainforest Assessment tool, contractors will head out and undertake all the work you have marked up. At the end, you will assess the work and discuss the effects.
This work is funded by the Species Survival Fund (NHLF/DEFRA).
