Join us at our magical Christmas market, filled with eco-friendly stalls and festive goodies, where you'll be able to create your own Christmas decoration! 🎄
With guidance from our Wilder Learning team, you’ll saw your very own wooden cookie, drill a hole, and decorate it however you wish. Create a beautiful keepsake for your Christmas tree or a heartfelt, handmade gift for someone special.
This activity is suitable for adults and for children aged 3+ with a little support.

📍Where do we meet?
Outside the visitor centre, at the Christmas market.
🥾What should we wear?
Most of our events are fully outdoors, and you need to come dressed for the weather. We recommend layers (top and bottom), which can get mucky. Wellies (with thick socks) and waterproofs are a good shout if you have them.
🌍Where are you based?
We are located just off the A127 near Basildon.
🚗Is there parking?
Yes. We have a large free car park.
🚇Can we get to you on public transport?
Yes. We are just under 2 miles walk from Laindon Station and under 1 mile walk from the nearest bus stop.
🚻Are there toilets?
Yes. Our Langdon Nature Discovery Centre has toilets, a shop and a café serving hot and cold drinks, snacks, ice cream and light lunches.
🐕🦺Can we bring a dog?
Assistance dogs are welcome at our events.
