Langdon Forest Bathing
Overview
Forest Bathing is the English translation of the Japanese term ‘Shinrin-yoku’ and means ‘spending quality time, under the canopy of trees, in a forest, for health and wellbeing purposes’. Forest Bathing can be seen as a tool to enable people to deeply connect with the natural world and this relaxing session will be facilitated by Sally, a Forest Therapy Practitioner.
The session will involve spending time, moving slowly and sitting within nature. There will be guided meditation to help activate all 5 senses (and maybe more as you will discover) and Sally will offer activities and exploratory invitations that will help you connect with nature, contributing to your wellbeing, quietening the mind and soothing the soul.
Be advised the session will take place outside, so please arrive in appropriate clothing and footwear.
