Language 1 – Parent Workshop

The Language 1 Parent Workshop is designed to support parents and carers in developing their child’s speech, language and communication skills at home. This workshop helps parents understand how communication develops in young children and introduces a Parent-Child Interaction (PCI) approach.

Parents will learn why a PCI approach is particularly effective for young children and how it can be used in everyday routines and activities. The workshop aims to empower parents and carers to feel confident in supporting their child’s communication development at home.
