What time should I arrive?

If you're joining us for the first time, we recommend you arrive shortly after the event start time.

Question 2

Can I bring one or more guests?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely, but do contact us asap to let us know how many guests you'd like to bring. Remember that the £2 event fee applies to each attendee. To request guest spaces you can contact us at hi.languages.in.london@gmail.com.

Question 3

My language skills are a bit rusty, can I still join the event?

Definitely! Our events are very relaxed, social and fun. You can participate as much as or little as you like. If you prefer you can come along and enjoy the social engagement with other attendees from around the world.

Do I have to pay to attend an event?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we ask every event attendee to contribute just £2 to help us cover some of organisation fees. We keep our event entry fee as low as possible, to enable everyone to join our events. We believe our events offer you a great experience and excellent value. Join us and let us know what you think!

What's the duration of the event?

We normally start our events at 7pm and they normally end shortly before 11pm. So, there's plenty of time to enjoy our event, practice your language(s) and make some new friends.

Question 6

Will there be somebody there to help me if I have any questions or need assistance?

Yes, our events are hosted from start to finish. The event organiser will be there to welcome you, give you your badge and even help you with introductions, if you'd prefer. We want you to enjoy the event and we'll be there to support you.

We have a truly international community. English is our most popular language and you'll also hear attendees  speaking / practicing Spanish, French, Italian, German, Japanese, Mandarin, Korean, Russian, Portuguese and Arabic. You'll often hear others speaking other European and Asian languages.
