Lansio'r Safonau Hyfforddiant Diogelu Cenedlaethol
Trosolwg:
Mae’r Safonau Hyfforddiant Diogelu Cenedlaethol yn cael eu lansio fel rhan o Wythnos Ddiogelu Genedlaethol 2022.
Mae’r safonau hyn wedi’u datblygu gan grŵp datblygu aml-asiantaeth cenedlaethol dros y 18 mis diwethaf ac wedi bod yn destun ymgynghoriad wyth wythnos.
Mae nhw'n cyd-fynd â Gweithdrefnau Diogelu Cymru. Mae’r safonau’n nodi’r disgwyliadau o ran gwybodaeth, sgiliau, agweddau a gwerthoedd ar gyfer pobl sy’n gweithio gydag oedolion a phlant a allai fod mewn perygl o gael eu cam-drin, eu niweidio neu eu hesgeuluso.
Bydd y lansiad yn:
• cael ei gefnogi gan y Dirprwy Weinidog Gwasanaethau Cymdeithasol, Julie Morgan AS
• rhoi trosolwg o gynnwys y safonau
• cynnwys trafodaeth banel aml-asiantaeth.
Bydd y digwyddiad yn cael ei gadeirio gan Jane Randall, Cadeirydd y Bwrdd Diogelu Annibynnol Cenedlaethol. Bydd Lance Carver, Cadeirydd Bwrdd Prosiect Gweithdrefnau Diogelu Cymru yn agor y digwyddiad.

Launch of the National Safeguarding Training Standards
Overview:
The National Safeguarding Training Standards are being launched as part of National Safeguarding Week 2022.
These standards have been developed by a national multi-agency development group over the last 18 months and have been subject to an eight week consultation.
They are aligned to the Wales Safeguarding Procedures. The standards set out the expectations for knowledge, skills, attitudes and values for people working with adults and children who may be at risk of abuse, harm or neglect.
The launch will:
• be supported by the Deputy Minister for Social Services, Julie Morgan MS
• give an overview of the standards' content
• include a multi-agency panel discussion.
The event will be chaired by Jane Randall, Chair of the National Independent Safeguarding Board. Lance Carver, Chair of the Wales Safeguarding Procedures Project Board will open the event.
