Join Us for White Ribbon Day 2025 – Lantern Parade & Civic Ceremony
On Tuesday, 25 November, Bracknell Forest Council along with Berkshire Women's Aid and Kaleidoscopic UK, will mark White Ribbon Day 2025, a global movement to end gender-based violence and promote allyship for those affected by it.
To commemorate the day, we’ll be holding a small civic ceremony followed by our first-ever Lantern Parade through The Lexicon, Bracknell and we’d love for you to be part of it!
Make Your Own Lantern
We’re inviting members of the community to create their own lanterns and join us in the parade. No experience is needeD, just your enthusiasm!
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll be guided through the process of making a beautiful paper and willow lantern. All materials will be provided, and you’ll leave with a finished lantern ready to shine on the night of the parade.
