Join LAPG for the second stage of our Developing Your Profile training for NfP legal advice providers. This Implementation Workshop will focus on improving your profile with a particular emphasis on online presence and social media. This session builds on the introductory content delivered at the Innovation Lab on 3 October 2016.
The workshop will help you develop new methods to ehance your profile and build them into your organisation's strategic plan. Participants will be asked to bring a copy of their strategic or business plan, and by the end of the session will have integrated new concepts into their plan. We will consider the resource implications and risks associated with implementing new methods for enhancing your profile, the engagement required within your organisation and with external stakeholders, and the practical steps that need to be taken to move from developing an idea to realising an idea.
Ideally, two relevant staff members and/or trustees will attend from each participating organisation. This is because we know from experience that implementing a new or innovative idea takes input from different levels of the organisation or from those with a range of skills and experiences.
This session is part of a wider LAPG training and support programme. We have been commissioned by the Legal Education Foundation to produce an online knowledge base and run a series of workshops to share the learning and good practice developed by innovative Future Advice Fund projects. We'll be running a series of innovation labs and implementation workshops to explore themes from funding to partnership work to the role of technology to communications and profile - all designed to give NfPs the knowledge and resources to transform their services and business models. Look out for our workshop programme in the LCN updates and via LegalVoice.
