Event description

Description

The Larry Lamb study day was started in memory of Philip ‘Larry’ Lamb. Larry Lamb was a paramedic student at Plymouth university who sadly died of sudden cardiac death. The day is organised and run by current paramedic students. The day is open to anybody and will be an exciting day for anybody interested in emergency care. Tea and coffee will be provided throughout the day as well as lunch. The day will consist of lectures and breakout sessions focusing, this year, on the theme of “not all paramedics wear green”, exploring the differing roles available to paramedics.

It promises to be an exciting and enlightening day!

Throughout the day there will be raffle tickets on sale raising money for the Devon air ambulance with prizes being handed out at the end of the day.

The “Larry Lamb” award will be handed out to a third-year paramedic student for contributions to the course throughout the three years.
