We are presenting two linked plays in April about the trials and tribulations of a struggling AmDram group. A local Club’s desperate group of actors realise their failing theatre is faced with a grim future so they choose to put on a play in a state of panic. “There's only one thing that sells tickets these days” says Gordon the Chairman. “Sex!” Thus begins the chaotic and hilarious build-up to an evening of extraordinary home-grown drama. Follow their fortunes as they try to stage a daring comedy followed by a racy pantomime. Could this be the end of their society? Don't be too sure. It's never over until the fat lady sings.
