Event description

Description

We have regular sessions with Neuro-Physiotherapist and Pilates Instructor Sasha Baggaley on Mondays from 4-5pm at Christchurch Morningside (6a Morningside Road), Edinburgh.

Core stability is the foundation of Pilates. It aims to promote strength, stamina, balanced muscle development, flexibility and increased range of motion for the joints. As your core strength develops so does stability throughout your entire torso, which can help with some of the mobility and postural issues of PD. Additionally, reducing the effort placed on the body during everyday activities can help reduce fatigue levels.

There is a requirement to complete a health questionnaire/disclaimer which will be handed out at first session. If you can complete and return as soon as possible please.

Sessions are free. Booking is recommended as places are limited.

Please note, while there is no parking at the venue, it is served by a good bus service.

The Late Autumn Session runs for 9 weeks (23rd October - 18th December 2017)

You are booking all 9 sessions - not individual weeks. (If unable to attend any, please let Sasha know, so she can offer a place that week to someone else).

(Note: Bookings are for a term. You can only book one term at a time. The next term booking is available a couple of weeks before it’s due to start).

No need to print tickets - we only use booking to prevent too many turning up for limited places.
