Late summer wildflower walk
Event Information
Description
Following our wildflower walk at Hougoumont Farm in June, we'll be looking at chalk grassland again early in September, this time at East Hill Farm. As well as improving ID skills, we'll talk about some of the national monitoring schemes, how useful they are, and how we can contribute. We'll then get out in the field and collect data for the National Plant Monitoring Scheme, as well as using iRecord to log the different species we find (so make sure you install the app on your phone before coming along). And with any luck, we'll find some devil's bit scabious this time!
Afterwards, we'll continue the conversation, grab a quick drink, and maybe get a bite to eat at the Prince Leopold in Upton Lovell.
