We are back again at the Lido for another night of Latin Dancing. SBK Jersey (Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba Jersey) is offering another free Bachata basic lesson – perfect for total beginners. No experience or partner needed – just come along and enjoy the music, movement and good vibes! See you on the dancefloor.

Do I need any dance experience to join?

Not at all! Bachata is a beginner-friendly dance, and we’ll guide you step by step. No previous dance experience needed; just bring your enthusiasm!

What if I have two left feet?

That’s totally fine! We go at your pace, and the steps are simple and repetitive. You’ll be surprised how quickly your confidence builds!

Is Bachata good exercise?

Absolutely! It’s a fun and gentle way to get moving, improve coordination, and boost your mood without even realising you’re exercising.

Will I have to dance with a partner?

You can, but it’s not required. We rotate partners often and also do solo steps, so everyone feels included, whether you come alone or with a friend.

What if I feel nervous about dancing in front of others?

That’s perfectly normal! Our sessions are relaxed and supportive. Everyone is learning, and we keep it light-hearted and fun, no pressure at all.
