Lattes & Legacy is our first ever in-person meet-up — a space to connect, recharge, and be inspired.

This event is a chance to:

  • Meet like-minded Black tutors face-to-face
  • Break the ice and build meaningful connections
  • Feel part of a growing community of excellence

And of course — there’ll be the option to enjoy a latte, coffee, hot chocolate (for the non-coffee drinkers), or sweet treats, available to purchase on the day.

This event is exclusively for Black tutors — meaning Afro-Caribbean tutors and mixed-heritage tutors of Afro-Caribbean descent.

2. What is the purpose of the event?

To meet The BET Collective UK team and connect with other like-minded tutors in a relaxed, supportive environment.

3. . Can I invite a friend?

Of course! The more the better. Please note: spaces are limited as The Wilds, Grounded Café is a public space. We encourage prompt booking to avoid disappointment.

4. Is there parking onsite

Yes, there is ample parking available at the venue.

5. Is the event really free?

Yes! Attendance is free — however, as the venue is kindly hosting us, we encourage attendees to purchase a coffee, latte, hot chocolate, or sweet treat during the meet-up to support the café.

6. Do I need to bring anything?

Just yourself and a willingness to connect! If you’d like, you can bring a notebook to jot down ideas or reflections.
