The Association of Historical and Fine Art Photographers (AHFAP) is publishing its salary guidelines and has organised a launch event to mark the occasion. The event includes a detailed breakdown of the salary guidelines by Kira Zumkley, AHFAP chair followed by two presentations. First, Charlie Donoghue, Talent Acquisition Manager at the Royal Household will speak about institutional and external influences on salaries and recruitment and what managers can do to address salaries that do not match the AHFAP salary guidelines. Second, Louise McAward-White from Fair Museum Jobs will talk about how salary guidelines fit into the wider tools for advocacy and what applicants and employees can do to contribute to tackling salary issues across the sector.
