This event is the launch of the UK Additive Manufacturing Special Interest Group which was awarded earlier this year. The Special Interest Group (SIG) aims to create and promote new knowledge and knowledge transfer in the area of additive manufacturing and 3D printing (AM/3DP), primarily for the benefit of UK business and economic growth. It is run by the Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN), which is funded by the Government through Innovate UK.
