Webinar: Launch of a new free child trauma resources website for mental health professionals, including e-learning resources for supervisors of trauma-focused CBT

This webinar will launch a new website of free evidence-based resources for mental health professionals working with trauma-exposed children and young people, and particularly those with PTSD or complex PTSD.

This includes the launch of an exciting new e-learning resource for mental health professionals who deliver trauma-focused CBT to children and young people – especially those who provide supervision.

The webinar will include overviews of the latest research on delivering best-evidenced mental health support to children and young people who have experienced multiple or complex traumas.

It will then present the new website and demonstrate key features, including the four-module supervisor e-learning package – which is free to use.

The website also includes free: animations, including animations developed with young experts-by-experience; clinical leaflets for young people and caregivers; role-plays for mental health professionals; and supervision frameworks and tools for use in treatment planning and during treatment.

The webinar will also have dedicated time for questions and answers from attendees.

The e-learning and resources have been developed as part of the ADAPT study, which has been a large multi-service research project exploring barriers and facilitators to getting best-evidenced mental health care to care-experienced young people.
