About this Event

LAUNCH OF THE LEEDS KINDNESS REVOLUTION

Saturday 21st September 2019 – 6.30pm for a 7pm start

Join us for a wonderful evening of music, friendship and kinder connection as we celebrate the launch of Leeds Kindness Revolution. We will share further information about our planned journey working towards a week-long Leeds Festival of Kindness, Compassion and Wellbeing in September 2020.

As well as music from the wonderful Tenzin and Captain of the Lost Waves, the evening will include, a poem on Kindness by writer Paul Heaney, the symbolic planting of a tree of kindness, a TV/ press announcement and short talk about the Leeds Kindness Revolution by Gloria Kimberley (Project Leader).

Come find out about our exciting plans for showcasing and celebrating the wonderful work already happening and which is planned across the city in the fields of kindness, compassion and wellbeing, and hear about the different ways in which YOU can get involved.

Attendance is by invited donation on the evening. Recommended donation amount is £10 (for waged) or £5 (for unwaged). A ‘Kinder Café’ will be available for snacks, soft drinks and non-alcoholic beverages.
