The ground at Mayfield Lavender Farm is reasonably level although there is a coarse covering of gravel on the road surface which is normally manageable with some care. There are no steps to negotiate but there are some short sloping sections to consider.

The route will begin by walking the track around the perimeter of the field. Depending on how the Lavender grows, this may or may not be accessable for a wheelchair. However, there will be an alternative route provided if necessary.

The walk will finish on the grass outside the Hospice building.
