About this Event
This session is for fellowship, sharing good practice, sharing the blessings and challenges of being a lay employee right now...and generally for a good catch-up and check-in with each other! As part of our meeting, we will be hearing from Mary Hawes, National Childrens’ and Youth Advisor for the Church of England on the topic of ‘Looking after ourselves looking out for each other’.

Any lay employees -- paid or volunteer -- of the Methodist Church in the Southern and Islands region.

About the Connexional Learning Network
Learning and development across the connexion is supported by the Methodist Church's Learning Network. This work has four aims:
- nurturing and equipping Christ-like disciples
- challenging and equipping mission-shaped communities
- forming and equipping those who share in lay and ordained ministry
- enabling and encouraging creative thinkers in an environment of scholarship, research and innovation.
The Southern & Islands Region of the Learning Network covers the Channel Islands, South-East, and Southampton districts of the Methodist Church. The region is supported by a team of Learning and Development Officers and a Regional Coordinator who work in partnership with many other people who have a heart and passion for learning and development in the context of mission and ministry.

Do you accept refunds?
This event is free, therefore we won't give refunds. We do, however ask that you make efforts to let us know if you cannot attend. This helps us with reducing wastage of resources and food.
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
We ask that there are other people in your party who can confirm you’re part of the booking if your name is not on the ticket in question. It is also possible that if we are catering this event any dietary requirements will not be met. If either of these stipulations cause you problems, please email lns&i@methodistchurch.org.uk or ask whomever booked tickets to re-book with the correct requirements.
