Layer Home Truths: International Women's Day
Tue 7 March 2017, 18:45 – 21:00 GMT
Who run the world? Girls obviously!
What do you get when you have four design gurus in the same room who have created spaces for the likes of Net-A-Porter, Kate Spade New York and a country house for actress Gabriella Wilde?
A dream team of panelists, that's what.
What better way to mark International Women's Day than with three influential female designers who join the latest #LayerHomeTruths panel to celebrate inspiring women in design.
Layerhome.com is over the moon to welcome Harvard educated Dara Huang to the panel, the creative force behind international, award-winning architecture and design practice, Design Haus Liberty. Dara was invited personally to design the Samsung Pavilion for the London Olympics 2012. Joining Dara is Sophie Ashby, founder of Studio Ashby, who after founding her business aged just 25, was shortlisted for the International Interior Designer of the Year 2015 and 2016. Hear from Studiofibre founder Fiona Livingston whose impressive roster of clients includes Farfetch, Net-A-Porter, notonthehighstreet.com and Anya Hindmarch. Finally, joining our line-up of leading women in design is Emma O'Kelly, Editor-at-Large at Wallpaper* magazine. Since 1996, Wallpaper* has led the way as the number one publication for design, architecture, interiors and lifestyle.
