LCCA Student Showcase - July 26th 2022
Date and time
Celebrate the creativity and success of our Level 6 BA Graphic Design and Fashion students at the LCCA Student Showcase.
About this event
In July, we're celebrating the creativity of LCCA's BA (Hons) Graphic Design and Fashion students with two events that will take you from complete stillness to full-on sensory overload.
We'll be showcasing projects across the visual narrative spectrum, from immersive design environments to abstract visual storytelling. We'll also be hosting a sensory lab where visitors can experience light, texture and sound in ways that challenge their perceptions.
Join us for both events!

Tuesday 26th July 2022, 11am – 6pm, Garage, LCCA Campus
Level 6 Exhibitions:
Entering Unique Fashion Worlds features three individual installations from our final year students.
Visual Narratives exhibits an extensive range of Final Major Projects from our Level 6 students. These self-initiated briefs include projects that range from UI to UX and traditional analogy in visual communication.
Level 5 Exhibitions:
FLUID is an exploration of historical and modern cutting and drape practice. Exhibited pieces demonstrate inventive and original design detailing, silhouette, fabrication and colour story.
EDIT, ongoing digital innovation disrupts the publishing industries, forcing them to confront fundamental changes. The “page” is now printed on paper, permanent, digital and ephemeral. The individual editorial publications displayed as part of EDIT reflect this changing mediascape.
Level 4 Exhibitions:
A Sea of White Shirts showcases the white shirt project and the development of creative construction techniques. All pieces are displayed on mannequins.
Communicating Ideas sees our students articulate their own voices as designers and artists, whilst fashioning messages that speak to varied communities and cultures. Works on display also explore how communication can be determined by the interplay between information, visualisation, visual navigation, and audience interaction.
All attendees must be 16 or above.
