LCR 4.0: "Together for Manufacturing"
Event Information
Description
Do you work with SME manufacturers in the Liverpool City Region? If so, you need to know about LCR 4.0.
LCR 4.0 is a UK manufacturing first that aims to put the Liverpool City Region at the heart of an evolution which is set to transform production in the modern world economy.
Part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), LCR 4.0 creates a collaborative community that connects SMEs to expertise and support from key knowledge assets in the region. Programme partners include the University of Liverpool (Virtual Engineering Centre), Liverpool John Moores University, The Hartree Centre, Sensor City and the Liverpool City Region Local Enterprise Partnership.
The dedicated LCR 4.0 team help SMEs explore the potential of Industry 4.0 technologies by providing support ranging from research and development, knowledge transfer and the acceleration of ideas from concept through to commercialisation. By exploring the challenges and opportunities of Industry 4.0 together, LCR 4.0 helps SMEs to increase productivity and de-risk innovation.
Join us to hear from some of the people behind the project and find out how your business or your client’s business could benefit from embracing Industry 4.0 technologies.
Professional Liverpool would like to invite you to hear from Andy Levers, the Technical Lead for LCR 4.0 and Alison Mitchell, the Executive Director at Sensor City.
