L&D Connect is a space for L&D practitioners and others in organisational development to discuss the issues that matter most to them and their organisations. It has been set up by a group of L&D professionals eager to help the profession progress and develop. The aims are simple - to create a space to: 

•  Talk about relevant L&D issues and reach a solution/resolution
•  Test out exercises and ideas with other practitioners - get their feedback and think differently about what you produce
•  Exchange ideas and support fellow L&D professionals.

Earlier in 2012 we ran our first event, which was an unconference - a collaborative learning experience where participants set the agenda for discussions which then lead into free flowing discussion groups.

It proved to be a great success - here is what some of the delegates said:

Spurred on by the success of our first event we are pleased to announce details of our second unconference. 

L&D Connect 2013 Unconference

The format will remain the same, which means no presentations or lectures and you won't be sold to. There will be some loose facilitation to get things started but be prepared to input and make this event your very own. We will be immersing ourselves in our own development.

As you can see, we have a date and a time and will shortly be announcing the event’s central London location.

The event will be fun, participative and great value too. This is a not-for-profit event. Ticket sales will cover event costs and any surplus will be donated to charity.
