About this event
HR professionals are working with increasing complexity, with shifts in legislation and intergenerational expectations of working life. The emotional assertiveness model encourages people to simultaneously think about their emotions and feel about their thinking.
Participants to this session will increase their knowledge and understanding of:
- Harnessing emotions alongside clear thinking to create healthy, respectful, and cooperative relationships that strengthen HR’s role as a bridge across the workforce.
- Understanding and setting boundaries with ourselves and others as an essential practice for sustaining wellbeing, reducing burnout, and building stronger communities at work.
- Recognising and addressing psychological defences that block authentic communication, and learning how they contribute to misunderstandings, conflict, and strained relationships.
